Rules of the Road

  • Stop at all stop signs, look both ways for cars before proceeding.

  • Stay behind the lead adults.

  • Wait to cross Lowell Boulevard until the lead volunteers say it’s OK, we cross as a group.

  • Bike on the right hand side of the road, in a straight line.

  • After we cross Lowell Boulevard, stay on the sidewalk where you can bike or walk your bike up to the gate

  • Helmets are strongly recommended.

Requirements

  • Kids 2nd grade and older that are confident riders that understand the rules of the road along with bike safety (stopping at stop signs, looking both ways before crossing streets and not crossing if there are cars present, riding on right side of the road) are welcome to be dropped off and ride with the group.

  • Kids in ECE, Kindergarten, and 1st grade should have a parent ride next to them to ensure their safety.

  • To participate in the Bike Bus, you agree to our terms and liability waiver.
