Rules of the Road

  • Stop at all stop signs, look both ways for cars before proceeding.

  • Stay behind the lead adults.

  • Wait to cross Lowell Boulevard until the lead volunteers say it’s OK, we cross as a group.

  • Bike on the right hand side of the road, in a straight line.

  • After we cross Lowell Boulevard, stay on the sidewalk where you can bike or walk your bike up to the gate

  • Helmets are strongly recommended.

Requirements

By participating in Brown Bike Bus, you agree to our terms and liability waiver.

Kids in 2nd grade and above are welcome to ride with the group independently, so long as they are confident riders and understand the rules of the road.

Kids in ECE, Kindergarten, and 1st grade should have a parent or other responsible adult ride with them.
